1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website https://banskoskiinstructors.com/ and booking a service with Bansko Ski Instructors (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with your booking.

2. Services Provided

We provide private and group ski instruction services in Bansko, Bulgaria. The “All-Inclusive” Package includes:

Professional Ski Instruction for the booked duration.
Rental of Skis, Ski Boots, and Poles from our partner wardrobe.
Helmets (subject to availability).

The Package explicitly DOES NOT include:

Lift Passes: You must purchase your own lift pass from the Bansko Ski Zone.
Insurance: You are responsible for your own medical and travel insurance.
Clothing: Ski jackets, pants, gloves, and goggles are not included.

3. Booking & Payment

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking slot online via PayPal or Credit Card.
Remaining Balance: The remaining 80% balance is due in cash (EUR or BGN) upon arrival at the ski wardrobe before the first lesson begins.
Currency: Online payments are processed in EUR. Cash payments are accepted in EUR ) at the daily exchange rate.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both you and our instructors.

More than 48 hours before the lesson:
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start time, you are eligible to reschedule your lesson for free (subject to availability) OR receive a full refund of your deposit.
Less than 48 hours before the lesson:
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time result in the forfeiture of the 20% deposit.
No-Shows:
- If you do not show up for your lesson or arrive significantly late, the deposit is forfeited, and the instructor is not obligated to extend the lesson time.
Weather Conditions:
- Lessons proceed in snow, cold, or wind. However, if the Bansko Ski Zone officially closes the ski area due to extreme weather, we will offer a full refund or rescheduling.

5. Equipment Use & Liability

Fitting: You must arrive at the designated wardrobe 20-30 minutes before your lesson to fit your equipment.
Damage/Loss: You are responsible for the equipment while it is in your possession. If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged due to negligence (e.g., skiing on rocks/road), you may be charged the replacement cost by the rental shop.
Safety Bindings: Our staff will adjust bindings based on the weight/height information you provide. You agree not to tamper with the settings.

6. Liability Waiver & Safety

Skiing is a hazardous sport with inherent risks of personal injury. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree that:

Risk: You accept the risk of injury while skiing.
Insurance: It is mandatory that you possess valid medical insurance that covers winter sports/skiing in Bulgaria.
Waiver: Bansko Ski Instructors, its employees, and partners are not liable for any injury, death, or property damage resulting from your participation in the lesson, except in cases of proven gross negligence by the instructor.
Instructions: You agree to follow the safety instructions given by the instructor. If you act dangerously or under the influence of alcohol/drugs, the instructor reserves the right to terminate the lesson immediately without refund.

7. Child Supervision

For participants under 18:

Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring the child arrives at the meeting point on time.
Parents/Guardians must pick up the child promptly at the end of the lesson at the designated meeting point.
The instructor is responsible for the child only during the scheduled lesson hours.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
